This is Campbell enjoying the treat portion of FHE last night. The extra big marshmallow is almost as big as him.

Jon eating his supersized s'more. These were made with extra large marshmallows from Macey's grocery store.

Jan Sewing!!!

So I just wanted to record for posterity that I have sewn and it was successful. Thanks to my mom for the borrowed sewing machine, and my mother-in-law for the idea and fabric(it's a flat sheet from Wal-Mart). I cut the sheet in half to go behind our nice, but transparent curtains on our sliding glass door- now at night people can't see in and the room stays a bit cooler in the morning. I would say more to come, but we'll see... sewing that is...

Striped wall

We decided to stripe our bathroom off the laundry room and use this great frog tape that has been advertised recently. What a joke... as you can see here- my recommendation is to just use the blue tape- oh and a friend said to use a bit of caulk if you are doing stripes, you just use a little on the edge of the tape and wipe it off...

Jon's birthday cake...

So Jon just celebrated his big 30 and I made him a Yoda birthday cake. It only took a couple hours, but it was worth it. I made the fondant out of marshmallows and confectioners sugar- it was fun to work with. We celebrated up in Midway, Utah- which was absolutely beautiful.
